The granddaughter of our dearest friend was studying photography and took the original photo of The Marsh, near her home in Ocean City, N.J. I love the way the foreground foliage frames the view out to sea in the perfect “invitation to enter” - opening your mind to opportunity, as you pick your way through the undulating, intensely contrasting flora of the marsh to the sound, and the sea beyond.
